Went to watch Avatar in 3D at 1AM today, was a last minute decision though.

The starting was boring, but things get better when the guy went into the Magical World of (insert name here). Towards the end of the show, it gets really exciting. A must-watch, definitely. Sure, the blue humanoids did look stupid, but the story plot and graphics were really epic. I'll rate it 4.5 stars out of 5.

The movie last for about 2 hours and 10 minutes, which means it only ended at 3+, went to have a real early breakfast at 4AM+ then went back home to sleep. First time catching a late night movie though, the feeling was definitely different.

Oh, you know, if you're bored or something, try watching Explorers of the Human Body with Super Junior on Youtube, it's really interesting and funny. You know, if you bind your first 2 toes of each foot and try a long jump, you can jump farther than you can than usual. And do you know, Nitrous Oxide (N2O), can make you laugh just by breathing it in? Of course the effects varies with certain people, but it makes a majority laugh. Just search Super Junior EHB eng sub on Youtube and you should be able to watch it, there should be 9 or 10 episodes.

I thought my Korean Fever was gone but meh, I'm still having a severe one afterall.

As I went to check on updates for K-pop at allkpop.com, I found this

It's really um... so-called demoralizing though. One member after another continues to sue SM entertainment ( Suju's Company ) for some terms in the contract, which I'm not very sure about.

Luckily, my favourite member isn't involved in the filing of lawsuits so I'm quite fine with it, however, Super Junior is 13 and only 13, one member more or one member less is no longer Super Junior. And speaking of members, SM Entertainment is bringing in 2 members from China (WTF) to add the the band. Ah, whatever, this isn't for me to worry about, if the verdict comes out, I'll probably post about it again.

If you remember Lee Minho a.k.a Gu Jun Pyo from Boys Over Flowers, actually they approached Jang Geun Suk to play Gu Jun Pyo, but he actually turned down the offer and went to play a role in Beethoven Virus, thus, Lee Minho took over as Gu Jun Pyo.

More details here

Speaking of Jang Geun Suk, everybody must watch You're Beautiful! According to my sister's friend, Jang Geun Suk lost 8kg just to play this role in You're Beautiful. Haha. I'm not a fan of Jang Geun Suk in the film but you can really see the difference!

Before

After

Haha, okay, that shall be all for me to share now. And remember, watch You're Beautiful. LOL

Oh before I go, Merry X'mas eve. Enjoy the vid!

Just started watching this - IRIS. Looks pretty interesting.

The first guy from the left is T.O.P, from Big Bang. Haha. I think this'll be another great drama to keep me going. There are some talk about history of President Kennedy and such in the first episode, which reminds me of the history lessons we used to have.

More updates later, shall continue watching this.

I'm really happy today, not because I got a job, nor did I struck lottery.

Let's just say, things were really going well for me, or rather, things happened the way I hoped they would be.

Busy watching You're Beautiful while on the hunt for jobs and I must say, it's pretty good. I've only watched up till the 12 episode, but I'm liking it so far. There ain't much draggy scenes but there are some really annoying scenes by calefares. I'll recommend everyone to watch though, at the end of every episode, it just makes you want to keep watching and don't stop at all.

This drama probably tells you almost everything in the media industry. I used to wonder how they do stuffs and this show did show me how, oh, and it also tells you how psycho reporters and paparazzi are. LOL

This one's probably the original cover.

I found this one on another web.

The blond guy is actually a member from FT island, haha. Only realised it after a few episodes, as for the other actors, I'm not sure who they are.

Out of 5 stars, I'll rate it 4 stars. That's just my opinion though, however, definitely better than Boys Over Flowers. It's worth the time! (Not much Korean dramas really keep me going actually, but this one did)

The next thing that made me pretty happy is very random. But hey, different things make different people happy right?

There was a new patch in Audition today, so after patching, I went in the check the new songs out.

I was really excited when I saw some songs I liked.

- Sorry Sorry by Super Junior
- Time to Love by T-ara

- Heartbreaker by G-Dragon

There's another song by SS501 - Love Like This. Though I'm not really a fan of SS501, I think I'll be one soon. This song was really difficult in Beat Up, furthermore, it's 156 BPM, which is pretty fast. I'll be playing this song non-stop to reduce the misses I get thus, I might get addicted to it and become afan of SS501 LOL. The arrows just keep coming. Don't believe me? Watch this.

Okay, it seems really easy for the player, but it's not for me. That player has 700+ Perfects and 1 Bad and 0 Misses. For me, it's a hell of a song. I'll post up my score later.

To sum it up, I'm really happy today, felt like trying my hands on writing a novel. LOL, ridiculous, ain't it?

EDIT.

Here's my score for SS501's Love Like This.

Pretty lousy huh? As compared to the guy from the video.

Another sad thing, my Full Combo for Big Bang's Last Farewell is gone.
Used to get a Full combo ( see below )

But as I went to try a few rounds of Last Farewell just now, I had more than 10 misses, pretty depressing huh?

Oh and, if you're wondering why my character is a girl, it's simple. AuditionSEA, is so biased that, the girls get the nice clothes while the guys get the same old clothes with minor differences. I couldn't stand it, so I played as a girl.

I haven't posted for quite some time.

So this time, I'll be sharing my latest craze - T-ara.
I must say, their songs are pretty addictive, or rather, I'm easily influenced to songs that have many repetitions.

Here's some of their vids, really very addictive, couldn't stop listening to them,

T-ara - Bo Peep Bo Peep

T-ara - Lies

I'm pretty sure there are some other ones, but that is all I shall share.

Speaking of Korean craze, Singapore's a big disgrace. A very very big disgrace, 3 days ago, Brown Eyed Girls, FT Island and some other really hot Koreans bands came to Singapore for a concert. That wasn't so bad huh, however, when one of the FT island members, Seunghyun, was making his way back to the hotel, surrounded by crazy fangirls as usual, one of them actually pulled his hair.

Don't believe me? Here's the video of the attack.

Woo~ He actually pointed at her as some sort of warning or something, in my opinion. It's weird, why hair of so many things? I've seen crazy fangirls pulling the sleeves of their idols, but not this time. It was said that the girl who pulled his hair was a malay girl and was hated and she deleted her blog. Oh did I mention that Seunghyun looks like Kim Hyun Joong in that vid? Haha, probably the result of the dark lightings.

Anyway, I'm going to get an interview at Bee Cheng Hiang later, thanks to Bao Ling for this lobang. I'm not sure what I'll answer when they ask, " Why do you want to be a sales assistant?" later on, kinda scared, yet not so scared. It's a weird feeling huh.

However, I believe working at those outlets would be quite rewarding, since CNY is approaching, OT should be quite inevitable, which means it'll make up for the time when I was jobless, provided I get the job, of course. However, if I fail this interview, thy shalt not falter. Haha.

Oh before I end off this post, I'll be changing a new blogskin soon. Which band? I think it's pretty obvious by now. If not, it's T-ara for goodness sake. LOL.

I feel like writing another super long post to while away time. But I've got nothing to write on.

Don't you find it really amusing when you feel like going online and after about 10 minutes or so, you feel bored even when you're online.

I've been trying to watch anime, but none really kept me going though. Sometimes I'll just watch the first few episodes and then stop, needless to say for real-life dramas. I've got like 6 people telling me to watch You're Beautiful, but I never really bothered. Life kinda sucks. But it sucks more when I'm working at the hotel.

Recently, I've been thinking back of time, the time when I first came to Serangoon Sec, the class was noisy, boisterous and lively,

WARNING : Incredible long wall of text coming!

It all began yesterday, woke up real early in the morning, feeling really excited about working and earning some income. So i dilly-dallied till 3PM when I set off for work.

Upon reaching, changed to my uniform, reported, briefing and so on. Actually I was supposed to be helping out at one of the cafes, but apparently there was also a wedding dinner held on that night and I was pulled off to the ballroom due to lack of staff. Briefing again, followed by how to serve and cut the dishes and such. Oh, I forgot to mention that there was an amazing large amount of CHEENAS working there, followed by Singaporean Ah Bengs and Ah Lians. Didn't feel good about that, but just kept my mouth shut.

With inadequate training, the wedding dinner started, at first, things went well for the first 2 dishes, which we just had to serve them and let the guest do self-service. The problem came when the 3rd dish began, I had to cut out portions to serve 10 people at my table, I was fortunate though, my table only had 8 people. But I still have to cut 10 portions just in case my people needs another serving. After cutting, I was supposed to refill their drinks and their tea, and this guy needed me to take away his cup of tea because my partner was busy pouring the red wine. So I placed it on my tray, didn't really balance well and it splashed on his sleeve, luckily there was not much tea left though and it turned cold. Got a scolding afterwards but yeah, it was my fault anyway.

Then after serving the 4th dish, some childish, stupid old man probably in his 60s asked me if I could give him the pig's head from the first dish, and he didn't say he was joking about it. So I told my partner about it and she asked the fucking old man. And he told her he was joking. Fucker. Still so childish at that age, I hope you die sooner. Hence, I got another scolding.

So I stayed in the kitchen wiping the plates, nothing could go wrong with that. At this point of time, I was already dehydrated, I didn't drink a drop of water for about 4 hours. Then blah-ed all the way to the 9th dish. Nothing very wrong during the last 5 dishes, just a bit jerky during the serving.

The metal tray along with 10 bowls of sharks' fin was a killer, and I had to serve 2 trays which is killing me. But if I dropped them, I'll be dead for sure. Got scolded again for nothing, and this scolding really was a turn-off, I decided not to work at that bloody hotel again. One of the regular staff dropped her empty bowls and to escape punishment, she said I did it since I was nearest to her. Like Fuck, I was just there wiping the plates and we're not so near to each other, probably 70cm apart and I got accused. Stupid CHEENAS.

So everything ended by the last dish, dessert, again, another killer for my arms. I was so glad that it ended and I looked forward to going home, but that was not the end. We still had a debrief and before we could go, we had to change the cloth for the tables and chairs for the next event for tomorrow, which is today. This one was okay, no problem at all and then I left the hotel, rushed to the nearest 7-11 and got myself a big cup of Slurpee.

Oh, before I left the hotel, they gave everyone a coupon for the shuttle bus at 1.30AM. But What the fuck, the shuttle bus is like damn small, probably enough for only 8 people and the next shuttle bus would be at around 2.30AM . I was too tired to squeeze myself in, so I took a taxi home instead.

Some good things about the hotel though;
- The non-Cheenas and non-Ahbengs/Ahlians were kind enough to help me out.
- The dinner served at 4.30PM wasn't half-bad, in fact, I found myself addicted to the vegetables.

Well, I guess there's nothing else good about that hotel anymore, 5-star huh? 5-star my ass man.

Oh yeah, I forgot to say that the 9-course dinner looks pretty shiok.

1. Whole Suckling Pig
2. Prawn Cocktail with whatever sauce
3. Fried Yam apple with I dunno.
4. Abalone with Shitake Mushrooms and Veggies.
5. Sharks' fin soup with I dunno.
6. Braised Duck in Sauteed Sauce with 5 Treasures.
7. Crispy Buns with Chilli Crab Sauce ( SHIOK! I think )
8. I forgot
9. Chocolate Pudding with some kind of fudge.

So if you or your relatives are holding wedding dinner, have it held at Mandarin Oriental Hotel, be sure to wear the stupid Cheenas staffs out!

P.S I forgot to say that my shift was supposed to end at 11PM, but we had to work 2 extra hours to clear everything up, and that 2 Hours isn't counted in my salary. Lousy hotel.

Last Farewell 3:32 PM;

Sunday, December 6, 2009

Came back from sis's ROM at about 6+, was dead tired and slept till 9.30PM.

Overall, the ceremony went perfectly I suppose, just that it rained before the solemnization so the staff had to carry the solemnization table inside. Photos next time, I think.

As for me,never knew my ugly fugly hair cold be spiked that way, with some gel and hairspray haha.

Work starts tomorrow and nobody I know is working with me, which is kind sad huh, however, I was told the staff there are pretty friendly so I shouldn't have much problem. Actually, my main worry is getting around the place and holding the tray, my sense of direction is pretty bad and I really have no idea why I'm so lousy at getting around places.

Okay, for now, I'll just have to relax, feeling hungry but nothing looks appetizing, that kind of feeling is irritating.

P.S My workplace has many CHEENAS working there, so I bet I'll be alone most of the time. ROFL
